Orlando woods skeletal remains identified after 30 years

Remains discovered in Orlando over three decades ago have been positively identified as the Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced a breakthrough in the cold case. The skeletal remains were found near Heather Road and Dennis Avenue on Jan. 12, 1993. The victim, a White male, was determined to have died from a gunshot wound to the head, marking the case as a homicide.
