Operation Green Light Begins in Seminole County, Help Residents Regain Driver’s Licenses

SEMINOL COUNTY, Florida. — The Clerk of the Court of Seminole County announced Operation Green Light, a program to help residents regain their suspended driver’s licenses while saving on fees.

According to a press release, the program has helped nearly 2,000 people qualify for reinstatement of their driver’s licenses by helping them pay for overdue legal obligations and traffic fines.

This year the initiative starts on Monday, February 27th and will run until March 3rd. Residents can come from 8:00 to 16:30.

“Our office has good news for people who are struggling to pay court fines and fees or have their driver’s licenses suspended due to non-payment,” Clerk Grant Malay said. “Starting February 27, our office will be able to withdraw overdue bills from collection agencies, offer people affordable payment plans, and help renew their driver’s licenses when needed.”
