The event is scheduled for Tuesday, and while all tickets are sold out, the performance can be viewed online by registering for free. on the organization’s website.

“I’m going to tell them to form a one-man committee. Being responsible for changing the minds of people who are not on the same page as them,” said Opal Lee. “We know that people have been taught to hate, and they can be taught to love.”

Lee, who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, also received White House recognition for his years of dedication to making June 10 a national holiday.

From slavery to the Holocaust, she hopes to pass through the common ground of struggle – both from the past and from today’s hatred and intolerance.

“I know we can,” Lee said. “Because our [historic pain]like them, it was terrible, and we need to come together to make sure that this never happens again with any of the groups of people.”

The event is scheduled for 19:00 on Tuesday, January 7th.
