One person was killed and another injured in a shooting in South Dallas, police said.

DALLAS. Police have launched an investigation into the deadly shooting that took place in Dallas on Tuesday evening, the Dallas Police Department said.

Detectives believe someone shot into the house, injuring two people. One of the victims, identified as 52-year-old James Deckard, died in hospital. The police said that the second victim refused hospitalization.
