North Texas SC acquire Yacar defender Alberto Perlaça Perea on loan from Atlético Nacional

FRISCO, TX (January 17, 2023) – North Texas SC signed Yeikar Alberto Perlaso Perea on loan from Atlético Nacional for the entire 2023 season, pending US Football Federation approval, in addition to his ITC and work permit. According to the team’s policy, additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

North Texas has the option to make a permanent transfer under Perlaza’s contract after concluding his loan in 2023.

“Yacar is a prime example of the young talent we want to attract,” said North Texas SC general manager Matt Denny. “He can have an immediate impact on us as we start to solidify what will be a really strong roster for 2023.”

Perlaza, 19, moved to North Texas after a season with the Atlético Nacional Under-21s. During 2022, he made 52 appearances for the Under-21s, scoring seven goals and 15 assists.
