Newsom signs legislation giving unprecedented police powers to non-citizens

The leftist government that runs California these days seems to go out of their way to please everyone, unless you’re an American citizen, of course.

A new state law signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom gives California non-citizens exclusive police powers.

SB 960, which goes into effect this year, allows non-citizens to become police officers in the state of California, according to the Washington Examiner.

Essentially, this new law shifts the work of policing from American citizens to foreigners living in the country.

Now, before anyone gets too upset, this new law doesn’t mean illegal immigrants can suddenly be police officers. According to Reuters, the law states that only non-citizens with a valid work permit can become police officers.

However, this law is problematic for a number of reasons.

First, is the fact that this bill will once again take jobs from American citizens and give them to non-citizens. Over the past few decades, globalization has meant that millions of jobs, especially jobs, have been transferred to other countries, meaning that many Americans in the poorest parts of the country are unable to earn a living.

This was one of the many reasons why a large number of workers came out in support of Donald Trump, who promised to reverse the tide of globalization and return jobs and opportunities to the American people.

But now leftists in places like California are handing over jobs that have hitherto been the preserve of American citizens to non-citizens of the state. It will only leave more working class Americans without jobs and opportunities.

In addition, there is the fact that police officers in the United States are tasked with enforcing American laws. Wouldn’t it be helpful to have law enforcement composed of men and women who understand the American legal system?

Many non-citizens did not grow up here and therefore do not fully understand the Constitution, how the judiciary works, or how the American government works.

It is far better for citizens to have police officers who are trained and trained in the laws of that country to ensure that they interpret and enforce the law correctly.

Of course, the leftists who run places like California have proven over and over again that they have little respect for the laws of this country anyway, because they consistently refuse to enforce them.

With a wave of crime sweeping the country, leftist governments are adopting a “soft on crime” policy in the name of tolerance and compassion that allows thousands of criminals to go free, resulting in more crime.

Not to mention, the governments of both leftist states like California and the Biden administration have refused to enforce immigration laws by allowing illegal immigrants to cross the southern border in record numbers.

The point is that the left seems to be trying to create opportunities for all but the hard-working and law-abiding American citizens.

They would rather give jobs to non-citizens in the name of liberal idealism than work to create jobs and opportunities for the citizens of their country.
