A 14-year-old New Jersey girl took her own life after a disturbing video surfaced online showing girls brutally beating her in a high school hallway. Now, her distraught father promises to remember her legacy, talking about a broken school system that he says has been oblivious to large-scale bullying.

Adriana Kuch, a Central Regional High School student, was found dead at her home on February 3, two days after the shocking video was released.

A disturbing video shows Adriana and her boyfriend walking down the hallway of a local public high school when a student approaches them and starts hitting her in the face with a water bottle. Adriana falls to the ground, where a group of students repeatedly kick and punch her. Applause is heard from the student who filmed the shocking video.

Approximately 30 seconds into the attack, two school workers prevented the ambush.

After the February 1 attack, Adriana received severe bruising on her legs and face. Michael Kush, Adriana’s father, was shocked to learn of the bullying incident. He told Fox News Digital that he took his 14-year-old to the local police station to write a report on the incident. The Berkeley Township Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The father also said his daughter showed him videos of people taunting and threatening her on TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat after the attack. Adriana was reportedly bullied for several months by her classmates at a local high school.

Despite contacting the school’s teachers, Michael shared that “no one took any action” after the incident. Just two days later, Adriana was found dead in her New Jersey home by family members.

Michael shared with Fox News Digital that he is suing the school.

“I’m furious,” Michael shared with Fox News Digital. “I blame the girls, the school and the cops. I want everyone to know what happened to her, I want justice, so much attention that they can’t ignore it.”

Michael shared that he thought his daughter would still be alive if the school and the police took immediate action.

“Had the school contacted the police, filed a complaint and investigated, these videos could have been discovered immediately.” Michael shared.

On February 5, Central Regional High School sent out a note to students about the “tragic passing” of the student district. The school also provided information on available counseling and crisis management professionals, stating, “Please know that you are never alone in the world and there is always support in difficult times to help make a difference.”

Central Regional High School did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital.

However, Michael shared that Adriana is not the first Central Regional High School student to face widespread physical abuse and cyberbullying on school grounds. On his public Facebook page, Michael shared videos from other parents whose children have experienced bullying without the intervention of the school administration.

“The more I keep seeing, the more I want to fight for all children against schools like this.” Michael said. “Complete incompetence from top to bottom.”
