Mystery of the human remains found on the Berkeley campus

Human remains were found on the UC Berkeley campus on Tuesday, the university’s police department confirmed.

The department is currently investigating the discovery of a human skeleton in an unused building on campus.

It was discovered at the Clark Kerr Campus, an apartment complex and event space that is about a mile from the main campus.

The remains are skeletonized and it is not clear how long they were there. The department says there are no cases of missing persons on campus.

This is an active, ongoing investigation with the Alameda County Coroner’s office, and the cause of death has yet to be determined.
