As part of our annual Clear the Shelters campaign, NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48 reward individuals, groups, and non-profits that go the extra mile for our furry friends through the Pawsitively Good Awards.

Congratulations to the Hobbs family for their passion and hard work in raising animals from the Milo Foundation for nearly a decade!

The Hobbs family began adopting dogs and cats to balance their love of animals with overburdened shelters. The Hobbs family says it can be bittersweet when a dog or cat finds its permanent family, but it’s so rewarding. And despite a few bad moves, the Hobbs family continues to raise litters of puppies and kittens, giving these deserving pets a chance at a better life.
