Mario time! Super Nintendo World inaugurated today

Super Nintendo World, the first Nintendo themed world in the US, is finally open to the public on Friday, February 17th. Eager fans can see everything the immersive world has to offer, despite the low temperatures, including merchandise, Mario-style food, and more.

Sure, Year Pass members and other lucky Nintendo fans got a glimpse of the world in the weeks leading up to the opening, but today is the day the whole world can enter the world of Universal Studios.

The red carpet event took place on Wednesday and featured an all-star cast including Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, Jamie Kamil, Dylan Sprouse, Maitreyi Ramakrishna, Jordin Sparks and more. See celebrities on the red carpet here.

The World is located on the Lower Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood, down the escalators and next to the Jurassic World attraction.

As soon as you enter the rainbow warp tube, you are transported to a land with very deliberate sight lines that make you forget you are even in a theme park. Guests said that as soon as you leave, you remember that you are back at Universal Studios.
