Man shot to death after entering a couple’s motel room uninvited, police say

The couple told police that he entered the room uninvited and refused to leave, and they felt threatened.

SAN ANTONIO. One man died after allegedly refusing to leave a motel room, which led to him being shot dead on the East Side Saturday afternoon, according to San Antonio police.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. around 1500 on Upland Road on Saturday.

The couple told police that the 28-year-old suspect entered their motel room, which was unlocked, and refused to leave.

The friend told the police that the suspect was stalking her and she was trying to get a restraining and protection order against the man.

She told police that she tried several times to talk the man into leaving, but he refused.

Her 23-year-old boyfriend, who was in the room with her, decided to shoot the man several times in the head because, he said, he feared for their safety.

The victim was later declared dead, officials said.

The couple did not receive any injuries.
