Man found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in Humble area

HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Precinct 4 Constable’s office are investigating after a man was found dead in the Humble.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the man was found in a house near Palomino Ridge and Mustang Corral Drive. The deputies were summoned to the area around 4:40 am, answering a call about violation of the order with weapons. The man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

It is still not clear what led to the shooting. One neighbor who spoke to Michelle Choi of KHOU 11 said they were getting ready to go when he heard five to six gunshots at close range but didn’t know what was going on.

We are told that perhaps someone is in custody. Meanwhile, investigators said they did not believe the man had any connection to the home outside of which he was found.
