Man dies after being shot by police officers in Missouri City, officials say

MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A man was shot and killed by police officers Sunday night at a gas station in Missouri City, according to authorities.

The shooting took place at a 7/11 gas station in the 11500 block of Highway 6 at around 7:45 p.m.

MC Chief of Police Berezin said the man was shot by officers. The man was reportedly taken to the hospital where he later died.

It is unclear what prompted the shooting, however, officials are expected to release additional details soon.
