Kreidler-Licina announces Lucerne County Council elections

Neskopek resident Vivian Kreidler-Licina has announced that she is seeking the Republican nomination for Lucerne County Council in the May 16 primary.

Kreidler-Licina was certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1993 and worked for many years in nursing homes caring for the elderly. Her last position in this profession was at Valley Crest Nursing Home in Plains.

In 2011, Kreidler-Licina began working at Lowe’s Pittston distribution center.

She describes her current position as “house engineer”, saying she is busy being a housewife, wife and housekeeper.

“This is a job that a lot of people don’t see. This is one of the most important unpaid jobs you can have,” Kreidler-Litsina said.

According to her, her duties include organizing and cleaning the house, doing household chores, managing the budget and looking after family members. Doing basic garden maintenance and taking care of pets are also part of her responsibilities, she said.

Kreidler-Licina cited several reasons she is running for county council, vowing to fight to “stop wasteful spending,” ease the burden on homeowners and small businesses, and repair roads and bridges.

She also vows to fight to solve problems in the county jail.

“I will always listen and fight for the people of Lucerne County,” she said.

Six of the 11 district council seats are up for grabs this year.
