Karine Jean-Pierre Reveals When She First Learned About Biden’s Secret Documents

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reveals when she first learned the classified documents had been found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.

During a press briefing on Tuesday, Jean-Pierre was asked: “When did you hear about the documents found at Penn Center in November and Wilmington in December?”

“When your team was making a story about it,” she replied.

The exchange of information came as the White House faced questions about how transparent it was about discovering classified documents when President Joe Biden was vice president.

On January 9, it became known that the US Attorney was studying about 10 classified documents at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington.

These documents were discovered in November before the midterm elections.

Another batch of documents was found in the garage of the president’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. These documents were discovered on December 20, 2022.

However, the second batch of documents became known only on Wednesday. And on Thursday it turned out that they were found in the garage.

And on Saturday, White House attorney Richard Sauber said six classified documents were found in the president’s personal library at his home in Wilmington.

One was found on Wednesday, five more on Thursday.

In addition, on Tuesday, one reporter noted that on Friday, Jean-Pierre was asked 18 questions about the documents.

“At that moment, the president’s lawyers found these five additional pages of classified documents. So you didn’t know on Friday that those documents were found when you were on the podium? Or is someone instructing you not to expand on this matter?” the reporter asked.

Jean-Pierre replied: “I was ready.”
