Widely known for attracting high-end tenants and blending in with its desert surroundings, California real estate is looking for a new owner.

Invisible House creators Joshua Tree are moving on to their next major building project and are looking to sell their 2001 Space Odyssey-inspired 5,500-square-foot estate for $18 million.

“I just drew a rectangle on paper and said, ‘OK, we’ll build it,'” Chris Hanley told the Wall Street Journal about the plan for his three-bedroom, four-bath house. “I thought it could just be a monolithic, reflective, ultra-minimal thing.”
