Jill Biden caught fundraising during Biden’s State of the Union speech

First Lady Jill Biden was quick to use the State of the Union ad to raise money for Democrats and appeared to sign the fundraiser text in the first half of her husband’s speech.

“This is Jill. I’m so proud of Joe,” the text read. “But this team still has a lot to do. Can you contribute $20 to the DNC to get this done?”

The Democratic National Committee fundraiser, signed by the first lady, began at 9:20 pm ET — just 20 minutes after the president’s roughly 90-minute speech.
