It’s Official: Jim Banks Announces Senate Run and Wins One Major Approval Immediately

Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana has officially announced that he will run for the US Senate in 2024.

After Senator Mike Brown announced that he was resigning his seat to run for governor of Indiana, there was great disappointment in Republican circles over the loss of such a strong conservative in the Senate. There were rumors at the time that Banks would run to replace him.

Now it’s official. On Tuesday, Banks announced on Twitter that he was running for the seat.

“Indiana deserves a conservative fighter in the US Senate,” Banks said in a video message. “But radical Democrats and spineless Republicans will do everything they can to stop me.”

This is great news. Banks is known as a strong conservative who will never stop fighting for the security and prosperity of our country.

Banks also understands that we are currently fighting the radical left. In an interview with National Review, he stated, “This is a war being waged for the future of this country.”

But there is more good news as Banks has already received a lot of support.

On Tuesday, the Club for Growth PAC released a statement endorsing Banks in the race for a seat in the Indiana State Senate.

PAC President David McIntosh said, “Jim Banks is a proven conservative and champion of economic freedom, freedom and opportunity – we are proud to support his campaign for the Indiana Senate.”

The Growth Club has plenty of money and resources and, according to the statement, is “ready to spend whatever it takes to help Banks secure the nomination and victory.”

Banks’ announcement and subsequent endorsement is great news for the conservative movement in America.

The Left is trying to impose a dangerous agenda on our nation. We need to get up and retreat. We need strong conservative leaders like Banks, but we also need ordinary Americans to support our leaders in their fight against the radical left.

The fight for the future of our country concerns all Americans, and therefore all Americans who want our nation to survive must be prepared to join the fight.
