Investigation Launched into Homicide in Manchester

The tragic incident that unfolded in Manchester, NJ on June 27, 2024, has left the community in shock. According to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Manchester Township Chief of Police Antonio Ellis, officers responded to a distressing 911 call around 4:55 p.m. The call reported a gunshot victim in the vicinity of Ridgeway Road and Hope Chapel Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 25-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her stomach. Despite being airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, the victim, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries.
