International Music System Mighty Crown Sound System Goes on Final Tour

Yokohama, Japan – After celebrating its 30th anniversary and impending retirement, Mighty Crown International Sound System announces:Final round“. These highly anticipated performances will give fans around the world one last chance to enjoy the award-winning, 8-time world champion sound in action! The Final Round Tour will introduce concertgoers to the high-end music, dubbing and personalities of one of the most successful sound systems in the industry.

The Final Round Tour will land in Canada, the UK, the US, the Caribbean and Japan. The “Early Juggling” leg of the tour kicks off March 17-22, 2023 in Japan, amid epic performances with celebrity DJ and radio personality David Rodigan. This dynamic duo has rocked many scenes over the years, and given their history and respected track record, it will be a delight to see them deliver musical magic to the public one last time.

Very select performance dates from March to June 2023 are available. Longtime manager Garfield “Chin” Bourne of Irish and Chin is urging interested promoters to get in touch soon as dates fill up fast and there is only one booking per city. The immersive tour will give promoters the opportunity to be part of sound systems history, while fans will have the chance to immerse themselves in memories with certified sound engineers and master jugglers.

Made up of Masta Simon, Sami T, Cojie and Ninja, Mighty Crown has been entertaining the masses for over three decades with top-notch sound performances and shows based on reggae and dancehall music. With close ties to Jamaica, the famous sound, born in Yokohama, Japan, shows respect for the powerful music and culture of the amazing island in every performance.

The Mighty Crown rose to prominence and received many accolades for its legendary journey. At a milestone in their career, The Far East Rulaz were chosen by the late Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to attend and perform at an exclusive dinner hosted by Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness in Japan. To their credit, the Mighty Crown is also featured in Caribbean-focused media as well as major music and fashion publications including Rollingstone, Billboard, GQ and many more. The booking of the cruise will now be the final farewell event for the premiere of reggae in Japan. Sailing from Japan to Korea aboard the luxurious MSC Bellissima (operated by MSC Cruises), Far East Reggae Cruise will offer reggae-influenced Asia cruisers.
