Houston Tops America’s Dirtiest Cities 2023 List

The dirtiest city in the country is in Texas, according to a new report.

LawnStarter Lawn Care Service has compiled a 2023 list of “America’s Dirtiest Cities” using a range of factors including pollution, living conditions, infrastructure, and consumer satisfaction.

The report looked at the 150 largest cities in the country and determined that Houston was the dirtiest in the United States.

The report cited Houston’s petrochemical facilities for air pollution and high greenhouse gas emissions.

The report also notes that Houston has a big problem with cockroaches.

Several North Texas cities also made the list.

Dallas ranked 32nd on the list and its biggest problem was pollution.

Fort Worth ranked 40th, Arlington 72nd, Plano 78th, and Frisco 91st.

McKinney proved to be one of the cleanest cities in the country, ranking 135th out of 150 cities.

It was the lowest ranked Texas city on the list.
