HEB buys Celina site on Preston Road

Selina is the latest community in North Texas to land on a popular grocer EURshopping list.

San AntonioThe supermarket chain has just acquired a first-class store on Preston Road in Celine. The nearly 30-acre site sits on the southeast corner of Preston and on the route of the new outer loop.

HEB is the latest major retailer to move to Celina. Collin County real estate broker Rex Glendenning said. Last year, major retailer Costco acquired a store south of HE-B.

“Currently, there is finally something really happening in Celina retail,” said Glendenning.

Selina is one of the fastest growing communities in Dallas-Fort Worth with over 33,000 residents.
