Grass flares up in southwest Miami-Dade; 95% contained

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FL. (WSVN) — Firefighters fought a grass fire in southwest Miami-Dade Monday.

Shortly before 4 p.m., a fire broke out in a field near Marlin Road and a bus stop.

Gas cylinders in the area also called the chemical protection team, but they did not become a problem.

The grass fire was 95% contained on Tuesday morning.
