Governor Abbott Announces New CertainTeed Manufacturing and Distribution Facility in Bryan

Austin, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that CertainTeed LLC will build a new roofing manufacturing and marketing facility in Bryan. CertainTeed, a subsidiary of the Compagnie de Saint Gobain, manufactures building materials for outdoor and indoor use. The project is expected to create 130 new jobs and about $140 million in capital investment. A $546,000 Texas Enterprise Fund grant was awarded to CertainTeed, and the company was also offered a $1,000 bonus for veteran created work.
