Gov. Greg Abbott Addresses the State

SAN MARCOS, Texas. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott will deliver a State of the Union address in San Marcos tonight.

This year, neither deputies nor the media are allowed into the hall during the governor’s speech. Instead, it will be broadcast live.

The governor will talk about the priorities at the legislative session.

We don’t have an agenda for today’s talk, but he’s expected to talk about school choice, border security, the fentanyl crisis, the power grid, the economy, and abortion rights. most recent comments directing government agencies to ignore diversity in hiring.

Immediately following the governor’s appeal, the Democrats will respond.
