Get outside and participate in the annual Big Backyard Bird Count

The New York State Department of Conservation (DEC) has announced the Big Backyard Bird Count (GBBC), a fun event for bird watchers of all ages and abilities in New York State, from beginners to experts.

GBBC will run from Friday, February 17th to Monday, February 20th, 2023. To help you, you will need to count the birds you see or hear for at least 15 minutes (or longer if you like) for one or more several days. four day event.
