‘Get me icing’: J. Lo makes surprise appearance in Ben Affleck Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl commercial

In the Super Bowl commercial, Massachusetts native Ben Affleck is working at Dunkin’ Donuts when he runs into a customer he knows.

BOSTON. Ben Affleck’s Massachusetts accent was the star Dunkin’ Donuts ad at the Super Bowl but an unexpected cameo by Jennifer Lopez threatened to steal the show.

Shot by Affleck, the ad features the star serving Dunkin’ fares, taking orders at the speed of an auctioneer, and dealing with customers with all the kindness and patience you’d expect from a Dunkin’ employee (none).

One customer steps forward and her jaw drops when she sees Affleck in the window, another takes a selfie with a famous actor and director… but while Affleck is handing out donuts to customers, one customer serves Ben a piece of humble pie.

– Do I look familiar? Affleck asks the man in the car.

“No,” he immediately replies.

As the commercial seems to be coming to an end, another customer pulls up to the car: his wife.

“What are you doing here?” says Jennifer Lopez in the driver’s seat. “Is that what you do when you say you’re going to work all day?”

Affleck tells the crew that he has to go, but before he can leave the window, J. Lo intervenes again, “Get me some frosting!”

Affleck has long been associated with the network, often seen in paparazzi photos with Dunkin’ Donuts.

High-profile advertisers from Netflix to Google paid more than $7 million for a 30-second spot during this year’s Super Bowl game on Sunday, aiming to capture the attention of the roughly 100 million viewers expected to watch this year.
