Fulton County Grand Jury President Admits ‘I Told My Boyfriend’ About Litigation

Fulton County Grand Jury Chair Emily Kors admitted in a recent interview that she told her boyfriend about a recent case in Georgia involving former President Donald Trump and the 2020 election.

“At some point during the proceedings, I told my boyfriend that during all this, I came home and told him,” Kors said. Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) in an interview Tuesday afternoon. “Did you know that if I was in a room with Donald Trump and Joseph Biden and they knew who I was, they would both want to talk to me.”

Kors was referring to the work of the special grand jury after serving as chair of a 23-member special grand jury that met behind closed doors from May 2022 to January 2023 to hear evidence from 75 witnesses. Her identity was revealed early Tuesday morning ahead of the interview.

She was also the first person on the special 23-member grand jury to speak out.

“This is not a short list,” said the North Fulton resident. AEK about the list of 75 witnesses. Although she declined to say who the special grand jury proposed to indict, she noted, “You won’t be shocked.”

As noted AEK, five pages of their final report was released last week. The information included that at least one of the witnesses is believed to have lied under oath in his testimony.

“There may be parts to it that you didn’t expect, but I don’t believe there will be any major plot twists in the season finale, you know what I mean?” Kors noted in her interview.
