FORT WORTH, TX (CBSDFW.COM) — Happy Friday!! Take a very large cup of coffee this morning, it’s cold!
This is a laying day as temperatures are close to freezing but it seems to be the top 10s and bottom 20s.
Our morning hours remain cool and crisp, with northerly winds between 5 and 15 miles per hour. The wind subsides during the day when the temperature warms up to 50 degrees under sunny skies.
If you’re heading out early on a Saturday morning, you’ll again need near-freezing layers.
High clouds will roll in tomorrow when the wind shifts from the south and our warm-up begins. We peak in the mid 50s on Saturday and then jump into the lower 70s on Sunday as southwesterly winds pick up to 10-20 mph.
The upcoming period of dry and windy days will keep pollen levels in the medium to high range.
If warmer temperatures are your thing, you’ll love the start of next week! We track lower 80s and fresh wind!! Our next front will move in the middle of the week, bringing back the chance of rain and storms in North Texas, as well as cooler temperatures.
It’s time to wash your car!
