Frost Watch, Frost Warning in effect for most of Bay Area

The Bay Area and much of Northern California, especially inland, will see near freezing or freezing overnight temperatures from Sunday night until midweek, according to the National Weather Service.

Frosts and frosts are likely across the region until at least Wednesday morning. The weather service said that frosts will operate in most areas from Monday evening to Tuesday morning.

Conditions will be extremely dangerous for unprotected people.

The weather service advises to protect people, pets, plants and pipes from the cold. Gusty winds will blow across the region until Monday afternoon.
