Freeway in Arizona closed due to HAZMAT spill: authorities

Authorities said a portion of the freeway in Arizona was closed in both directions on Tuesday due to the accident and the HAZMAT spill.

The state Department of Public Safety said the closure of Interstate 10 near Colb Road in Tucson was “extensive” and urged motorists to avoid the area.

The Tucson Fire Department said they had arrived at the scene. There was no estimated time to reopen the road.
