Fort Worth PD releases CCTV footage of fatal shooting

Fort Worth police released body camera footage and new details of a deadly shooting last week in which officers killed a man armed with a machete-style knife.

The officers arrived at a house near McCarthy Avenue and Alta Mesa Boulevard after the man’s mother called 9-1-1 and said he needed psychological help.

When the police arrived, they found 37-year-old Robert Bradshaw holding a knife.

They told him to quit, but he didn’t.

One officer considered using a stun gun, but then it is said that he attacked them.

Both officers fired shots, wounding Bradshaw, who later died from his injuries.

According to police, the woman was seriously injured.

Bradshaw fled the scene and made his way to his mother’s house, where police officers later shot him dead.
