Fort Worth carjacking suspect points gun at mother in front of her children

Fort Worth police are looking for a man who stole a woman’s car in front of her children and led the police on a chase.

Investigators say a suspect spotted a female victim unloading her child from a car at an apartment complex on February 10 and pulled out a gun.

One child was still in the back seat of the car, and the mother begged the man to let her pick up the child before he left in the car.

The man agreed, but fled in a car.

A few minutes later, the police managed to find the car and start chasing.

The suspect managed to escape, and the video shows the man leaving the car in an apartment complex in Hultom City.

Video from the compound clearly shows a man who police describe as a man of average height and build, possibly in his 30s.

Fort Worth police are asking for help identifying the man.
