Fort Myers Beach residents can waive their water and sewer bills

LEE COUNTY, Florida — The Fort Myers Beach Department of Public Utilities wants to remind residents that if their property’s water is not being used, water and sewer charges may be waived. Property owners can email the Department of Public Utilities at [email protected] with their name and business address.

All residents are required to pay for storm drains. If owners pay online with a credit card, a 3.5% fee is added to the bill. To avoid credit card fees, you can change your payment method and withdraw money from your bank account or deliver a check to City Hall’s makeshift complex located at 2545 Estero Boulevard.

The Department of Housing and Public Utilities is working to help everyone as quickly as possible. For any questions, please contact the Department of Public Utilities at [email protected].
