Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision at an Orange County construction site on I-4, the military said.

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida. Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision Monday morning at a construction site on Interstate 4 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Soldiers said the crash happened around 5 a.m. east of Central Florida Boulevard.

According to the FHP crash report, a Ford F-150 was driving west on an I-4 entrance when the driver, a 38-year-old male from Mascotte, crossed in front of the SUV after entering I-4.

The soldier said the SUV, driven by a 39-year-old man from Kissimmee, took off the side of the pickup truck and crashed into the side of the road, crashing into a truck with a muffler.

The collision caused another SUV to hit the wreckage, but no one in the vehicle was injured, according to FHP.
