Fight between two brothers leads to shooting, police say

After the shooting, the suspect got into a rented car and fled.

SAN ANTONIO. Two brothers got into a fight, resulting in one of them shooting the other, the San Antonio Police Department said.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of East Quincy Street in front of the treatment facility.

Authorities said the heated argument had turned into physical form. And after the shooting, the suspect got into a rented car and drove away.

The victim, a 35-year-old man, was taken to hospital, but his injuries were reportedly not life-threatening; he was shot once.

The identity of the suspect has not been released and it is unclear what led to the controversy.
