FBI searched University of Delaware twice for classified Biden documents: sources

The FBI raided the University of Delaware over President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, Fox News has learned.

Sources say no classified files have yet been found, but the FBI continues to review the documents and find out if some of them are classified.

Biden’s legal team has been cooperating with the investigation, sources said.

The University of Delaware is the president’s alma mater and home to the Biden School of Public Policy and Government.

The FBI conducted searches on two separate occasions, but it was not immediately clear when exactly the searches had taken place.

The White House declined to comment, redirecting all questions to the Justice Department.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the University of Delaware and the Department of Justice for comment.

The FBI search is the latest development in the ongoing Biden classified-document scandal.

Last month, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate Biden’s handling of classified documents that were found both at his Wilmington home and at the Pennsylvania Biden Center.

In addition to Biden and former President Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence also revealed that he found classified documents in his Indiana home shortly after ordering his records to be searched. Pence said he was taking “full responsibility” for keeping the classified documents.
