Fans React to Ezekiel Elliott’s Exit from the Dallas Cowboys

As is his picture on the Ford Center wall at The Star in Frisco. Ezekiel Elliott had a huge impact on Cowboys fans.

Hearing the news about The Cowboy Runner has been released difficult for some, such as Bobby Mesa, who named his son after him.

“He was the inspiration for his name” cowboys said fan Bobby Mesa. “We named him after him, so Ezekiel. So, like I said, I hope that wherever he goes, wherever he lands, you know he gets that super bowl because he deserves it. I feel he is a great runner and he will become a Cowboy legend.

He is not alone in his grief.

“I’ve been watching him since he started with the Cowboys and I just think not seeing him on the field next season would be a big change,” fan Alia Mendes said.

However, others believe that this is the right move.

“I think it’s long overdue,” fan William Brunsetter said. “I think we need to look to the future and you know, let him play with another team or something like that.”

Others agree with him.

“This is how the game goes,” said fan Philip Thompson. “If you’re not producing, they’re going to promote you, and that’s the reality with just about everything.”

Seven seasons with the Cowboys have come to an end. Something that should have come someday.

“Everything has an end as well as a beginning,” Mesa said. So, it looks like his road has come to an end here, but like I said, I wish him the best wherever he goes.”
