We get random waves of pretty intense accidents all over Central Florida. Recently, there has been a surge in the number of young drivers who are either involved in serious accidents or stopped for serious traffic violations.

I wanted to remind parents and young drivers that it’s not just fines that suspend or change driver’s licenses.

Here are a few things that can get in the way of a 15 to 17 year old driver.

The State of Florida grants parents or guardians the right to easily revoke a minor’s driver’s license. This can be done with a simple form and for no good reason other than that the parent wants the license to be revoked.

Adult drivers aged 18 and over require 12 points in 12 months to have their driver’s license suspended. But when it comes to teen drivers, if you get six points or more within 12 months, that license immediately becomes a one-year business purchase license.

Something to be very careful if you are driving on a driver’s license. This is the time when the driver must be very attentive. If you were to receive a moving violation and be convicted of that violation, then your one-year waiting period for a Class E license begins in full on the day of conviction.

I remember being a teenage driver and thinking that only the DMV or the police could affect my license, but that’s not the case. If you decide that you do not intend to attend school regularly, attending school may affect your license and either suspend or suspend your license.

There is also a violation of the rules of tobacco use, which leads to the consequences of driving. If a minor is caught with tobacco, he faces not only a fine for this violation, but also a possible 30-day license suspension.
