Dallas teenager shoots 11-year-old boy during fight: police
Police said a 14-year-old girl from Dallas, Texas, has been charged with murder after she allegedly shot and killed an 11-year-old boy on Sunday.
Fox KDFW reported that the shooting took place Sunday afternoon, just after 2 p.m., at an apartment complex on South Oaks Boulevard.
Dallas police conducted a preliminary investigation and determined that two teenage girls were fighting when one of them went for a gun.

When she returned, police said she shot the girl she was fighting, but the bullet hit an 11-year-old boy who was standing in the parking lot as a bystander.
The boy, identified as D’Ewan McFall, was taken to an area hospital, where he died, according to KDFW.
The girl who fired the gun fled the scene, and a little later was caught in another residential complex and taken into custody.

Police said it was unclear where the girl got the gun or who it belonged to.
Bystanders at the apartment complex were reported to have said that several young children as young as 11 watched the shooting, and as soon as McFall was shot, his friends rushed in and tried to stop the bleeding.
