DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) The Dallas Stars are kicking off a new tradition of celebrating black history in Texas this weekend.

The team’s first Black History Night will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the American Airlines Center. The team will host a black-owned business market in the morning and one of their first black players, Trevor Daley, will score before the game kicks off at 5 p.m.

Stars players will also be wearing Black History warm-up jerseys. The jerseys were designed by Brian Delumpa, the team’s graphic artist.
