Crowd boos after Biden said 3 words about Trump they can’t stand

President Joe Biden can appear confused or lost during interviews and events.

But there’s one thing that doesn’t bother him, and that’s an idea that could keep him in the White House for a second term: former President Donald Trump is returning to power.

During an event to unveil his fiscal year 2024 budget on Thursday, Biden said: “You may remember that I had a big fight with the former president.”

He added three words about Trump when he said, “Perhaps a future president.”

The crowd booed at his comment.

“Bless me, father,” Biden joked.

When Biden won the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, it wasn’t because he excited progressives as a self-described “democratic socialist” with an ambitious agenda. One of these candidates has already been.

And not because he was black, a member of the LGBT community, a woman, or all three at the same time.

No, it was because he was seen as the best candidate to beat Trump, which he did.

But during his first two years in office, his approval rating hovered between 40 and 30. And Democrats raised concerns that he was too old to run for re-election.

However, if the 2024 presidential primaries continue as polls show and Trump regains his popularity and wins the party’s nomination, Biden could have his key to re-election.

Democrats, women, and minority voters are so visceral to Trump that they are probably willing to vote again for someone whose policies they may not like, just to prevent him from winning office again.

The argument for Biden would be: “You may not like his policies. You may not like him personally, or you may think that he is too old. But he is the only thing standing in the way of Trump’s second term. And you don’t want that, do you?

Biden would probably most like to run against Trump, especially after the 2022 midterm elections turned around.

Sometimes he can seem out of his mind. But it must be admitted that he understands the power of the backlash against Trump and knows how to use it to his advantage.
