Co-working space opens at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington

It used to be the home of the Texas Rangers, but now that the team is playing across the street, Arlington’s Choctaw Stadium is opening its doors for business.

On Monday, The Rangers and Cordish announced the opening of Spark Arlington, a co-working space formerly called Ballpark in Arlington.

23 businesses have already moved into the space, including the XFL and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.

“The opening of Spark Arlington represents an important step in the development of a joint business venture in the Entertainment District,” Ray Davis, managing partner and majority owner of Texas Rangers, said in a statement. “It’s also another example of how Choctaw Stadium has been successfully repurposed to be a vital part of development in the area.”

The 30,000-square-foot, two-level space features private offices, apartments, work spaces, and more.

The offices overlook the field of Choctaw Stadium.

The city says the opening of Spark Arlington is the latest part of a multi-million dollar development in Arlington’s entertainment district, including the Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center and One Rangers Way luxury residential building.
