Chick-fil-A’s new cauliflower sandwich sparks controversy on TikTok

TikTok went wild after Chick-fil-A dropped its new “go with the plants” menu option, the “Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich”.

The new plant-based sandwich costs $6.59 and is currently being tested in Colorado, South Carolina and North Carolina after opening Monday, according to the Chick-fil-A website.

But the sandwich has sparked controversy on TikTok, with some influence of food taste food for the fans.

One TikToker, @morganchompz, reviewed the sandwich on Tuesday in a video that went viral with over 1.7 million views.

“Honestly, it looks like a regular chicken sandwich, but it really has a cauliflower smell,” the blogger told her followers.

Her final verdict was that the sandwich mostly tasted like “breaded filet”.

Another TikTok user also tried the cauliflower sandwich but gave it a “10/10” and said it looked and tasted like the original sandwich.

The cauliflower sandwich hashtag Chick-fil-A has amassed over 416 million views on the platform.
