LOS ANGELES — Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child and singer-songwriter devoted to her father’s legacy, died Thursday after being hospitalized for a medical emergency. She was 54 years old.

After her death was announced, tributes from other members of the entertainment industry immediately began pouring in, expressing shock, homage and grief.
