CBS 11 Mornings: Meet Your Players at the Puppy Bowl!

FORT WORTH, TX (CBSDFW.COM) – Super Bowl LVII is one week away, and the CBS 11 morning team will have their very own Puppy Bowl all week long!

From Monday to Wednesday, the morning team will bring players into the studio so you can get to know them… and hopefully accept them!

Then, on Thursday, it’s time for the teams to choose, with each contestant choosing an adorable player puppy to make their final prediction.

However, Friday is a big day when all the players in the studio have a tough decision to make.

Here are the players:

First, we have the beautiful Beatrice.

She is known as “The Bee”, I think she wants to be part of Beyoncé’s “Beehive”.

This six-week-old cutie is a bit smaller than her littermates, but she is definitely energetic. Therefore, she would rather be a cheerleader than a player.

If you’re wondering what breeds produced this gorgeous girl, animal rescue organization Saving Hope believes she’s a Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees mix.

One day she will be a big girl!

Next we have Otter!

This big guy is only six weeks old and more interested in adventure than food.

He has a lot of focus and is good at finding holes to get to the finish line.

Quiet and secretive… definitely running backwards.

I feel like this Sheperd, Great Pyrenees blend solves the problem.

Otter

Look at this handsome six week old boy Boudreau!

He is thoughtful and a little shy. A patient little guy who knows how to wait his turn.

But it’s hard to know what he’s thinking… so he would probably make a good quarterback.

Look at this beautiful six week old brindle girl Lulu!

She firmly believes that whatever boys can do, girls can do better! In other words… whatever Lulu wants, Lulu gets.

Lulu certainly loves to snuggle up, but she’s also brash and independent.

She can play in almost any position, but she believes that she should be a head coach.

And we’ve saved the biggest one for last, meet Gumbo!

This big six week old guy is noisy but also loves to cuddle. You can see that he has a lot of meat on his bones… nice to cuddle.

He may look ferocious, but he’s actually gentle…and loyal too! It will grab the hem of your pants and won’t let go which will definitely make it a protective end.

And we want the puppies to be winners too, finding a permanent home by the end of this week!

If you are interested in adopting any of the adorable puppies above, please visit the Saving Hope website and visit their pages for more information.

And if you can’t adopt or adopt right now, they are also always looking for volunteers.
