Blackwood is looking for counselors

Blackwood Educational Land Institute is a 33-acre non-profit educational farm in Waller County, Texas. Two acres of our land are cultivated and the rest is preserved in three different ecosystems: coastal prairie, oak savannah, and pine barrens.

Blackwood Nature Camp is a one-week overnight camp for kids ages 8-14. Our goal is simple: get the kids outside and have an active summer and teach them about nature and agriculture!

We have several vacancies for seasonal camp counselors. Camp sessions last 6 days and 5 nights, starting on Sunday evening and ending on Friday evening.

Applications are accepted until 28th of February and interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Final job offers and summer schedule will be sent by March 1st. Session preferences are not guaranteed, so please include all weeks you can work.
