Beach sand from Tom Brady’s retirement video for sale on eBay; the rate reaches $99.9 thousand.

The seller claimed to have collected beach sand hours after the seven-time Super Bowl winner posted a retirement video on social media.

TAMPA, Florida. Anything Tom Brady touches is likely to be worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Fans who receive a soccer ball, helmet or jersey touched by the seven-time Super Bowl winner can expect a large sum of money, including the sale of the sand that Brady once sat on.

Yes, you read it right.

A man put down a bottle of sand from the beach where GOAT announced its second retirement in a video up for sale on eBay.

The seller called the item “Tom Brady’s Exact Retirement Place – Bottled Sand” and said he collected the sample hours after Brady posted the video on social media.

The bottled sand has been on sale for about a week more, and as of this writing, the latest bid for the item is up to $99,900.

A total of 119 applications were submitted. The winning buyer will be required to pay an additional $4.90 shipping fee.

The seller wrote in the “About this item” section that he took two sand samples from where the 45-year-old announced his retirement. One sample is currently up for sale and another will be sent to The Pat McAfee Show for Boston host Connor to take if he accepts the item.

“… no one else took a sample on Feb. 1 after GOAT announced its real retirement,” the seller wrote in a message about the product. “You will own the very land on which the GOAT retired.”

The NFL legend made his second retirement announcement in a casual social media video while sitting on the beach, expressing how grateful he is for the support over the years.

“Good morning, guys. I’ll get straight to the point. I’m retiring forever,” he said.

The announcement comes exactly one year after Brady first retired in 2022 but returned to the sport just weeks later to play a third season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – his 23rd season in the league.
