Baby dies, several injured in rollover on Northern Highway

Police said the driver was driving south when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median, rolling over several times.

HOUSTON. An infant died and several people were injured in a motorway accident. northern highway late Sunday evening, according to Houston Police Department.

It happened just after 10:30 pm, heading south near North Shepherd.

Houston police said the driver was driving south when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median, rolling over several times.

According to police, two children and one adult were thrown out of the car. They were all taken to the hospital along with two other children.

A one-year-old child has died and several others are in critical condition.

None of the children were wearing seat belts, according to police, but it is not yet clear if any charges will be filed.
