Authorities seek information on missing woman in Collins County

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help find a 33-year-old woman who went missing last week.

Kayla Kelly went missing on January 11 after her friends said they hadn’t seen her in days.

Kelly’s car was found in an outlying area of ​​Frisco, although no details have been released as to where it was found.

Authorities said their investigation led to the identification of 32-year-old Okastor Ferguson as a person of interest.

Ferguson was arrested and charged with kidnapping. He is on $1 million bail.

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office did not provide any further information about Ferguson’s arrest.
